The easiest recipes are often the best ones. This sweet-and-simple caramel dipping sauce calls for just three ingredients and takes merely one minute to make. It couldn't get any more basic than that! ![]() This sauce is surprisingly reminiscent of caramel. It's thick and luscious and ideal to dunk strawberries, grapes, banana slices, or other low-FODMAP fruits into. If you want to drizzle it over low-FODMAP vegan cake or brownies, gradually thin it with a very small amount of water until you reach the desired consistency. You can also increase the yield and use it as a frosting. And if you're simply in the mood for something sweet and comforting, enjoy it straight out of the bowl. Peanut-Caramel Dipping Sauce Makes 2 tablespoons 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract Put all the ingredients in a very small bowl and stir until smooth and well combined. If the mixture is too thick, thin with a little water, 1/4 teaspoon at a time, to achieve the desired consistency.
